WTC Final 2023: Adidas officially released the new Test Jersey for Team India ahead of the World Test Championship Final against Australia at the Oval. Adidas has released a promo featuring the likes of former test captain Virat Kohli, current captain Rohit Sharma, and current test opener Shubman Gill. Adidas India also revealed images of Rohit Sharma, Mohammad Siraj, and Virat Kohli in the new test jersey on their official website.
With just 3 days to go for the all-important final, India is raring to go head-to-head against the Aussies and will be looking for redemption in their second WTC Final after failing to win the prestigious title against New Zealand in 2021.
There has been much speculation regarding the playing XI of the Indian team, with most factions divided over whether to play Ravichandran Ashwin or Shardul Thakur. However, the pitch will play a big part in the team’s selection. The Oval pitch is known to assist the spinners more than any other ground in England, so playing Ashwin over the fourth pacer will be a tempting option for Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma.

Captain Rohit Sharma has a big responsibility on his shoulders, as the Indian side hasn’t won any major ICC trophy since winning the Champions Trophy in 2013. With the Indian side marred by injuries to important players like Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Shreyas Iyer, Rohit would hope senior players would step up and lead the team towards an emphatic victory.
