WFI chief Sanjay Singh, ex-president Brij Bhushan Singh receive death threats, plaint lodged

Suspended Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Sanjay Singh alleged that he received death threat calls on January 13

Suspended Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Sanjay Singh alleged that former president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and himself received a death threat over a phone. As per PTI, UP Police lodged a complaint on an unidentified person on January 13 after a threat was made to Sanjay Singh over a phone call.

As per PTI, Sanjay Singh claimed that he had received two calls that he did not pick up on January 12. He claimed that he received calls from the same number on January 13 where Brij Bhushan was abused and a threat to their lives were made. The suspended WFI chief further claimed that he was worried about his family’s safety after the threat.
