Novak Djokovic

Despite not having had a great year so far, Djokovic cannot be ruled out of contention for the title as he is the top seed and the defending champion here. Most notably, he is the champion here for the last three editions and is vying for a fourth straight title.

After being disqualified from the Australian Open earlier this year, he lost in the Quarterfinal at the French Open to rival Rafael Nadal and enters the Wimbledon with an aim of winning his maiden Grand Slam title this year. Having also lost his World No.1 ranking, he is still the top seed and is placed in a favourable draw.

This might as well be his last shot for a Grand Slam title in 2022 as his participation in the US Open lingers in doubt as he is still unvaccinated. The top seed will begin his campaign against Kwon Soon-woo in the first round.
