1. Only player to average 50+ in all three formats: Consistency is what gives a cricketer his fame. Virat Kohli is the epitome of that. He is the only batsman to average 50+ in all three formats after playing 457 international matches. In Test, his average is 50.39, in ODI – 58.07 and in T20Is, 51.50.

2. Most double centuries from an Indian: He may not have a T20I century but with seven double hundreds in Test cricket, he has proved, he loves to bat longer. The number 7 is the highest amongst Indian batters and also amongst active cricketers.

3. Second-highest number of centuries as Test Captain: Since making captaincy debut in 2011, at no point did it look that it was a burden. He embraced the captaincy and led from the front in every match that he played. With 20 centuries during his captaincy tenure, he has the second-highest number after Graeme Smith (25).
