Sony’s iconic duo is heading to mobile. Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble has officially opened global pre-registrations ahead of its worldwide launch on iOS and Android. Developed by Oh Bibi in collaboration with PlayStation Studios and Insomniac Games, the free-to-play multiplayer hero shooter aims to bring the beloved franchise’s signature humor and explosive action to mobile devices.
Following successful soft launches across Canada, France, Asia, and the Nordic region, the game is preparing for its global debut.
Ratchet & Clank Game Plot Overview
This game is about Captain Qwark who has developed a high-tech simulation to discover the new Galactic Rangers. In this simulation, players have to fight against each other in exciting multiplayer games that include PvP and PvE battles.
As usual for Qwark, everything goes wild and full of humorous moments.

Upon release, Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble will have 12 heroes to play as, each having its own abilities and playstyle. Listed below are:

There will be six game modes available at launch, consisting of both competitive and co-op modes. These include:
- PvP team battle mode
- Co-op PvE defense mode
- Battle Royale-style survival mode
- Football game mode packed with guns
- More multiplayer modes intended for fast mobile gaming
The combat mechanics will involve use of all sorts of creative weapons that the franchise is renowned for, as well as music reminiscent of the PlayStation Ratchet & Clank games.8
