India has yet another reason to celebrate with the qualification of two of its esports teams, Team Apex Gaming and S8UL Esports, for the Free Fire EWC 2026 Grand Finals. The two Indian teams performed dominant in the Survival stage and managed to secure themselves spots amongst the top 12 Free Fire teams in the world.
In case you dont know, the Grand Finals, which carry a prize money of $1,000,000 USD, are expected to be one of the most important Free Fire events of the year.
Team Apex Gaming and S8UL Reach the Free Fire EWC 2026 Grand Finals
After failing to qualify directly in the Group Stage, Apex Gaming and S8UL found themselves in the Survival Stage on July 17, 2026.
There were 12 teams competing in 10 matches, with only the top four managing to qualify for the Grand Finals.
The two Indian teams managed to maintain their consistency and earn sufficient points to qualify into the qualification zone.

Unfortunately, Total Gaming Esports iQOO finished 11th with 98 points, ending their campaign before the Grand Finals.
The Grand Finals shall be held on 18th July 2026 where Team Apex Gaming and S8UL Esports will be participating along with eight other teams qualified directly from the Group Stage.
This path to glory won’t be easy for Team Apex Gaming and S8UL Esports. Both teams would have to compete against the best of Free Fire teams across the world including teams like EVOS Esports, Buriram United, Team RRQ, and Fluxo W7M.
As the Indian teams are hoping to make history in Free Fire Club World Cup 2022, every match holds great importance for both teams.
