Francis Ngannou boxing: UFC news: Francis Ngannou took to YouTube and addressed several situations surrounding his UFC exit right after Anthony Smith denounced The Predator’s potential boxing move. While referring to Francis Ngannou’s potential boxing move, ‘Lionheart’ said, “Francis Ngannou is just a regular dude as a heavyweight boxer. He’s uncommon in MMA. He’s unique. He’s very special, but in professional boxing, he’s average at best. At best, he’s an average puncher. He’s a below average boxer. He’s below average in his footwork and movement. He’s below average in his defense. He’s not gonna fare that well as a heavyweight professional boxer. He’s gonna get one big boxing fight and then the ‘new’ is going to wear off. We’re gonna see how good he actually is and be like, ‘Oh f*ck. He’s not that good.’”

Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou said that he would primarily want to do a boxing match before re-entering the MMA octagon. That said, the ex-UFC champion won’t have a deficit in finding A-listed opponents.

He was offered a whooping $8 million multi-fight deal by Dana White, which ultimately got turned down. Hence, Francis Ngannou has earned his spot to grab multi-million paydays. Now it remains to be seen what more he wants to add under his belt.

Francis Ngannou has eyed his boxing opponents

The ex-UFC champion named Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua as his two desired opponents for boxing. Both Fury and AJ are massive PPV draws and can bring in a massive financial fortune for Ngannou. Tyson Fury had verbally agreed to face Ngannou right after knocking out Dillian Whyte. Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua has lost twice in a row to Oleksandr Usyk and can consider Francis Ngannou as a tune-up opponent.

Apart from the boxing world, PFL MMA, BKFC, and Bellator MMA have also kept the doors open for Francis Ngannou. Although Francis Ngannou should have stayed with the UFC for a few more years, his upcoming journey can also be fruitful.
