After losing his debut match in the UFC, Jared Cannonier faced Cyril Asker in his second UFC fight. This fight lasted for only 1 round as the Killa Gorialla knocked out his opponent in the first round. Since the start, Jared got closed to his opponenets with light punches. Later, he continued to push his opponent back until he landed a left hook from no where.
Following the takedown, he landed hammer fists on his opponet to win the bout. This was a big win for Jared as it was his first ever win in the UFC. The fight ended at 2:44 mark with TKO. This was the start of Cannonier’s career as he was seen a bulky shape.
2. Jared Cannonier vs Anderson Silva
At UFC 247, the former UFC Champion Anderson Silva faced Jared Cannonier. This bout was a big fight for Cannonier to face a living legend inside the octagon. Although the bout ended up in the very first round, Cannonier landed only one kick to win this bout. Anderson Silva tried to punch Cannonier with left right combination. However, the Killa Gorilla waited for the perfect moment to landed a decisive kick on Silva’s right leg.
Eventually, the referee called off the match via stoppage due to heavy damage to Silva. This is considered one of the big wins for Jared Cannonier to knock off a former UFC Champion.
3. Jack Cannonier vs Jack Hermansson
Jack Cannonier vs Jack Hermansson was one of the best fights of his professional career. At UFC Fight Night, Cannonier came up with his best shape infront of the UFC fans against Jack “The Joker” Hermansson. This bout was the main event of UFC Fight Night as both the fighters fought brutally against each other.
However, after the first round, Jack Connonier escalated his punches to takedown Hermansson. This allowed the Killa Gorilla to land the final blows on his opponent with a TKO win.
