Former Unified Super Middleweight champion, Carl Froch, has responded to one of McGregor’s tweets where the Irishman had vowed to beat George Groves and ‘The Cobra’ Froch at the same time in a cage.

It means that Conor McGregor had desired an MMA fight, which Carl Froch has accepted verbally. The Briton boxer took to social media and dropped a video ahead of the Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis fight on April 22, sending several fans into a frenzy. Froch asked Eddie Hearn to get the paper works done and set him up against Conor McGregor.

‘The Cobra’ said, “Me and George Groves at the same time? Are you sure? Have you seen the size of George? No disrespect to George. But literally, I would pepper with the jab, maybe even one right hand. Even if no, if I hit you with one right hand, the fight is over.”

“Let’s just say George Groves ends up on the ground with you and he rolls on top of you. Then what are you going to do? The fight will be done and I can just smash your head while George Groves lies on you. Yeah, I fancy that. I will take that.”

Conor McGregor has had just one fight as a professional boxer against Floyd Mayweather in 2017. Despite losing the bout via TKO, McGregor earned appraisal from the entire fight world. The UFC star went 10 rounds against the best boxer of his generation.

Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler: When can UFC host the fight?

We are six weeks away from TUF Season 31, which will feature Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler as the head coaches. Both men’s teams will clash in several competitions and by the end, the coaches would meet inside the UFC cage.

Despite suffering consecutive losses, Conor McGregor is still the biggest Pay-Per-View Draw in the entire MMA Universe. Hence, he can be entitled to a world title shot upon beating Michael Chandler. Nevertheless, Chandler is also an A-listed prospect and shall not put on an easy fight for ‘Notorious’.
