  • Trevor Peek defeats Erick Gonzalez by KO (strikes) at 4:59 of Round 1

In his debut, Trevor Peek set out to make a statement, and he did so by defeating his opponent in the very last second of the first round. Peek (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) defeated Erick Gonzalez late in the opening frame of UFC Fight Night 220’s primary preliminary fight by submission at 4:59.

From the start of the fight, it was clear that Peek intended to use game-changing attacks. Peek gave every punch and kicked his all, leaving Gonzalez (14-8 MMA, 0-3 UFC) staggering from the forceful blows.

Peek didn’t relent as the last seconds of the first round drew near, finishing off his opponent by slamming him up against the fence with powerful punches.
