Estimating fighter earnings is a difficult task in combat sports, given the multiple parties involved. However, one way we can find an approximate figure is by looking at the fighters’ previous earnings. And so let us do the same for Blanchfield and Andrade.
In her last bout against Lauren Murphy, Andrade earned a reported $200,000. This was at UFC 283, which was a PPV event, and therefore, the earning included a PPV share as well. However, we do not have any information about Andrade’s contract with the UFC. Despite this, we can expect the Brazilian to earn between $100,000 to $200,000 for this weekend’s main event. Especially given that it’s the main event of the night.
Blanchfield, on the other hand, is still very young in her UFC career. According to reports, in her last fight at UFC 281, Blanchfield earned a total of $49,000. This included $22,000 to show, and a $22,000 win bonus. Therefore, we can expect the American to earn a similar amount this weekend, if not higher.
While these figures might give us an estimate, we can not say for sure that the fighters will earn the said amount. This is because every fight has different earning criteria. However, we can be sure that Blanchfield will earn more than her previous contest, given this is her first main event.
