Anderson Silva,’ The Dragon’ aka Lyoto Machida revered for their front kick knockouts has a new member in their club, Michael Chandler. The front kick to Tony Ferguson’s face, by Michael chandler in UFC 274, might be a historical knockout lately in UFC.

The kick drove Ferguson to collapse on the ground and instilled a temporary memory loss about the fight.

The fight witnessed a smooth first round where the fighter, exchanged punches and checked each other with a mix of elbows and low kicks. Things changed in the second round with the front kick from chandler.

‘El Cucuy’ was a sensation in the lightweight division with 12 straight wins. UFC 209 had Khabib Nurmagomedov signed to fight Tony Ferguson in the title fight. Unfortunately got canceled because of the Covid pandemic.

Being a former Interim Lightweight champion, his continuous loss started after fighting Justin Gaethje in UFC 259 title fight.

He holds a continuous four-loss streak in his record, making his professional mixed martial arts career vulnerable.

Tony Ferguson appeared in MMA hour anchored by MMA Journalist Ariel Helwani and elaborated on his next step in the fighting organization.

He said,“The want and the will is there to hit people again and to get hit and not feel bad about hurting people again, because it sucks. You can ask Rose Namajunas – I guarantee you she doesn’t like hurting people. And it’s kind of crazy, because we’re in the hurt game, but when you get to this high level and you have a soft heart for a lot of people, it’s hard to go in there and make this stuff happen.”

“When I first started, I was hungry for that, and I’ve got that same hunger back, and there’s no bulls*** on that,” he said. “I want to go and spar and I want to do damage again, not to hurt people, but to better myself.”

It seems that Tony Ferguson is eager to make his comeback and continue his winning g streak. Currently, the former interim lightweight champion is at 60 days’ medical suspension followed by his brutal knockout loss.
