UFC News: Kamaru Usman Celebrates with Chinese cuisine
In a recent podcast with Brett Okamoto, Kamaru Usman said that he forgot the release date of his upcoming movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He recalled after his phone was filled with good wishes and messages. Also, the former UFC champion stated that he celebrated this achievement with Chinese cuisine.

Kamaru Usman: “Acting is not my day job”
Talking about future plans in Hollywood, Usman said, “There’s a lot of combat in this movie that happens in the water, but I can’t say too much more without giving too much away. I’m in control of several activities that take place in the water as Naval Officer One. I’m incredibly excited to accomplish this. I must, however, do my day job first. I need to reach a stage in my day work where I feel assured and at ease with what I’ve accomplished there.”

Usman does not have a particularly significant role in the movie, although he appears in it a few times and even has a few words. In a snip from the movie, Kamaru Usman can be seen playing the role of Naval Officer one in Wakanda’s throne room while M’Baku discusses the various ways to deal with Namor, the “fish man,” and his problems.

According to Dana White, Kamaru Usman will face Leon Edwards in a trilogy fight for the chance to retake his reign; the fight is expected to take place in England. He suffered his first defeat in the UFC as he was knocked out four minutes into the fifth round of the bout on 22nd Aug, 2022.
