UFC Lawsuit: UFC is the No.1 MMA promotion in the world. Throughout the years, the promotion has thrived and grown to a whole new level. However, the UFC has always faced several challenges during their journey. Unfortunately, a lawsuit filed by fighters a few years back has finally been accepted, and Dana White’s company will soon face the consequences.
Ten years back, a group of fighters sued UFC for indulging in illegal business practices. However, recently, the lawsuit filed by the group of fighters has finally been addressed and certified as a class action lawsuit against UFC. Now, several reports claim this UFC lawsuit involves a total of 1200 fighters.
Recently, Combat sports regulatory lawyer Erik Magraken confirmed the official lawsuit. He took to his Twitter handle to explain the situation.
“In a nutshell, a bunch of fighters sued the UFC saying they used illegal techniques to acquire dominance in the market and they abused that dominance in the market, and the effect of that has been to underpay fighters drastically over the years.”
Currently, there is no further update on the timeline, and neither UFC nor Dana White has replied to the active lawsuit.

UFC Lawsuit: What will happen if the federal court orders UFC to compensate?
Dana White’s promotion has been one of the top promotions in the MMA with utter dominance. The company has consistently grown to new heights with its mastermind plans to dominate the market. UFC brought the best in front of its audience in order to dominate the market and acquired several smaller promotions.
However, if the company is subjected to compensation by the order. Dana White’s promotion to bound to lose billions and get restricted to their business idea. This includes fighter pay, oppressive contracts, and other tactics to stop a fighter from joining an agency.
Considering these factors of the UFC Lawsuit, the company would lose half of its fortune in compensation. With the reported number of fighters involved, it would be hard for the promotion to cover up the lawsuit, hence, getting restricted and opposed to using any other tactics.
