The fourth UFC video game from EA Sports was launched over three years ago. According to Metacritic, EA Sports UFC 4 was released on August 14, 2020, and garnered positive reviews from nearly 50 different reviewers. Due to the success of the last title, there was eager expectation when EA Sports revealed EA Sports UFC 5 on July 8.

The first cinematic trailer for the next game was unveiled by EA Sports on September 7, which raised anticipation for the new release. It gave fans a brand-new look at some updated character designs and hinted at upcoming game features. The fact that boxing greats Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali, as well as heavyweight star Fedor Emelianenko, would be playable characters in the franchise for the first time also caught the attention of UFC fans.

EA Sports Releases Updates On UFC 5 Game Series

Fans may purchase the UFC game for $69.99 on October 27 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will be the first game in the series that cannot be played on platforms from the previous generation and is not yet available for PC. 

The game’s international release is still a few days away, but players can start playing it immediately. 

The deluxe edition of EA Sports UFC 5 will be available for pre-order on October 24. It costs $99.99, which makes it a costly purchase. Emelianenko, Tyson, and Ali are playable characters in this game edition and are included without charge.

“Alter Egos,” which will have various appearances and skills for specific fighters, will be featured in the next game. Fans may play as a younger Jon Jones or Conor McGregor from 2013 as two examples. There are nine different “Alter Egos” included in the EA Sports UFC Deluxe Edition without charging any additional money.
