4. Jared Cannonier vs Anderson Silva: Fourth on the list is Cannonier’s win against Anderson Silva. This is a slightly controversial one but we are including given the stature of the opponent. Cannonier waited for the right moment and landed a powerful inside kick on Silva’s right knee. Such was the power in the kick, it injured Silva’s knee and he couldn’t continue.
3. Jared Cannonier vs Nick Roehrick: Starting the top three is Jared Cannonier’s win against Nick Roehrick. Cannonier and Roehrick were in the middle of the octagon, exchanging blows when the ‘Killa Gorilla’ landed a perfectly timed head-kick on Roehrick’s chin. This rocked Roehrick and gave Cannonier the chance to finish the fight, which he did.
2. Jared Cannonier vs David Branch: Second on the list is Cannonier’s knockout of David Branch. Cannonier walked down Branch and landed the most perfect straight right hand that dropped Branch. Without needing another invitation, Cannonier then jumped on Branch and finished the fight.
1. Jared Cannonier vs Cyril Asker: Number one on the list has to be Cannonier’s knockout of Cyril Asker. Cannonier was fighting on the outside as Asker tried to close him down. However, the ‘Killa Gorilla’ took his chance, changed angles, and landed a perfect one-two combination, with the left-hook landing flush on Asker’s chin. This sent him crumbling to the floor in emphatic fashion.
