Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev: The lightweight division is catching up the fire as the title is vacant.
Lightweight champion Charles Oliveira’s title got stripped due to weight differences. As he weighed half a pound more than the required weight in UFC 274.
The vacant title has got the eyes of The Eagle. He tweeted tagging UFC president Dana White.

Makhachev possesses an incredible record of 22 wins and 1 loss. The loss happened initially in his carrier at UFC 192 against Adriano Martins. Makhachev has been undefeated since then. His rise is just the same as ‘The Eagle’ with a strong and dominant ground game.
Charles Oliveira’s head coach and mentor Diego Lima took his stand on this call out in his recent interview.

But me… Diego Lima, trainer, head coach… A person who’s out there trying to take care of Charles’ career as much as I can… why not in Brazil? Charles is the champion. Oliveira, in his last fight, defeated Justin Gaethje in UFC 274 via submission in the first round. He was on the rise in the lightweight division and had defended his title more than multiple times.
Both Islam and Charles have a dominant ground game and if the fight happens, it would be a spectacular event in UFC history.
However, the UFC has not yet confirmed its stand on the event yet.
