UFC 300: Dana White announces two new fights; see details

UFC President Dana White has augmented the previously disclosed six-fight lineup with two additional lightweight division bouts for UFC 300

UFC President Dana White has augmented the previously disclosed six-fight lineup with two additional lightweight division bouts for the highly anticipated UFC 300. The additions come hot on the heels of the UFC Vegas 84 spectacle, which provided a dramatic prelude to this numbered event.

UFC 300 to witness two new bouts

Among the new bouts unveiled is a clash of seasoned warriors: Jim Miller versus Bobby Green. Miller, hot off a significant win in the co-main event at UFC Vegas 84, is about to etch his name amongst the legends of the UFC. His opponent, Green—a fighter known by his peers as ‘King’—is currently ranked 14th in the lightweight division, looking to rebound from a stark loss to Jalin Turner as 2023 drew to a close.

Notably, Miller, monikered ‘A-10′, will claim a unique accolade as the only fighter to have competed at UFC 100, UFC 200, and the upcoming UFC 300, a testament to his longevity and tenacity within the organization. Another contest set to capture the fans’ imagination is the championship battle where Justin Gaethje, the current holder of the BMF title, is poised to stand toe-to-toe with featherweight stalwart Max Holloway.

Despite the clash of weight divisions, this fight has been confirmed to take place in the lightweight category. Gaethje enters this fight after an epic win over Dustin Poirier, a bout that saw him snatch the coveted title. Holloway, on the other hand, has faced a series of setbacks in his bid for the featherweight crown against Alexander Volkanovski.
