UFC 293: Laura Sanko Set For PPV Debut in Adesanya vs Strickland
Laura Senko will make her debut as a color commentator for the first time at Adesanya vs Strickland during the UFC 293 commentary team.

UFC 293 Commentary: This weekend, Australia is gearing up to host UFC 293, bringing another thrilling Pay-Per-View event courtesy of the top MMA promotion. The main attraction of the night is the middleweight champ Israel Adesanya, who is ready to square off against the fresh-faced challenger, Sean Strickland.

But what really spices up this showdown is the commentary team, providing a symphony of excitement with their “ohhhs” and “ooes” while weaving the ongoing story of the event. It’s like the soundtrack of the sport, keeping fans glued to the action.

Adding in the mix, Laura Senko, a seasoned commentator, is making her PPV commentary debut for the very first time. The big question on everyone’s minds: who will she be teaming up with this time, and will the veteran Joe Rogan be part of the lineup?

UFC 293: Laura Senko Makes PPV Commentary Debut as Joe Rogan Set to miss

At the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Laura Senko steps into the PPV commentary booth for the very first time. This marks a pivotal juncture in her career, and she’s been nothing short of stellar in the role she’s taken on since her UFC debut back in January.

Notably, Senko has become a familiar and regular voice on the Dana White Contender Series, earning her name in the company. Now, with this upcoming event, she’s poised to make her PPV commentary debut, adding another exciting chapter to her impressive journey in the sport.

According to MMA Junkie, Laura Senko is set to team up with Jon Anik, alongside the beloved former UFC champion and commentator, Daniel Cormier, for the upcoming event in Sydney, Australia. Notably, the iconic UFC commentator, Joe Rogan, won’t be part of the commentary lineup for this event.

The absence of Rogan has become usual for the fans as he likes to stick to UFC pay-per-view events within the United States. While the exact reason hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s widely believed that he avoids international events due to scheduling conflicts stemming from his various commitments, including stand-up comedy and podcasting.

Although Michael Bisping usually steps in as the regular replacement for Joe Rogan, even he won’t be part of this event’s commentary team. This means fans can look forward to enjoying the commentary trio of Laura Senko, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Anik, offering a unique and exciting perspective for the upcoming event.
