Kara-France utilized Instagram to reveal that due to a concussion sustained in training, he opted to withdraw from the upcoming event close to his residence in New Zealand. Social media displayed fans’ discontent and sincere worry for his well-being. A supporter’s comment indicated prioritizing health, and a reference was made to Auckland in 2024. He said said “health on one. See ya Auckland 2024”

On Instagram kai said:

“So unfortunately, I’ve had to withdraw from my next fight in Sydney, Australia, UFC 293,” Kara-France said. “I suffered a concussion over the weekend in training. I’ve been speaking to my coaches, my team and my family, and they all think it’s the right decision to put my health first.

“Just want to say sorry to all the friends and family that bought tickets, flights, accommodations, all the fans that were excited to see me fight live. I’m gutted that I won’t be a part of this card.”

After facing consecutive defeats in his recent UFC appearances, Kara-France aimed for a comeback. His aspirations were hindered when he couldn’t secure the interim flyweight championship, succumbing to a TKO loss against Brandon Moreno. Additionally, a contentious split decision setback against Amir Albazi in June added to his challenges.

Now, due to a concussion, his octagon return set for September has been postponed to a later date. This setback is the latest in a series of obstacles for Kape, who has encountered numerous opponent changes in his quest to advance in the flyweight division.

Scheduled for September 10, 2023, at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, UFC 293 Adesanya vs. Strickland is an upcoming MMA event organized by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Don’t miss the thrilling action.
