Alexander Volkanovski will enter his first match since losing to Islam Makhachev in a close fight for the UFC lightweight title. However, his next fight with Yair Rodriguez would be his comeback announcement as he moves forward to show who is the real champion in the featherweight division. This won’t be easy for him as Yair Rodriguez shows signs of determination and confidence to become the new featherweight champion. Fans have high expectations from the bout as we move towards the weekend.

The co-main event will feature Brandon Moreno vs Alexandre Pantoja for the UFC flyweight title. This is the second time the two fighters will face other. Pantoja would be ready to finish the story again, as he defeated Moreno in their last encounter.

UFC 290 will be live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 8th. The prelims will start at 6 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. BST. The main card is scheduled to undergo at 10 p.m. ET / 3 a.m. BST, while the main ring walks will undergo at 12 a.m. ET / 5 a.m. BST. The PPV will be live on ESPN and ESPN+ and available exclusively at UFC Fight Pass.
