Before his title defense against Henry Cejudo at UFC 288, Aljamain Sterling is confident. ‘Funk Master’ stated in the video that he complements Cejudo nicely. Although having won an Olympic gold medal in wrestling, the former two-division UFC champion thinks there are more ways for him to prevail, saying:
“I know you are good at the clinch work, grappling, and other stuff like that, but I just think I have more methods to win, and I think that’s going to be the difference in this battle,” the fighter said.

The wrestler who won the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing is hardly an underdog, despite being well past the peak of his career and returning after a more than 3-year absence. Cejudo is listed as a +110, which means a $100 wager would return $110. These odds speak to the fame and qualifications of Cejudo, who will attempt to become a 2x Bantamweight champion with a victory against Sterling despite having not competed in years and now caring for a wife and daughter.
