The middleweight title fight between reigning 185-pound champion Alex Pereira and longtime kickboxing foe Israel Adesanya, a five-round championship rematch, will be the main event of UFC 287, which will take place this Saturday night (April 8) at Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida.
This fight will follow the welterweight fight between 170-pound gladiators (and residents of the “Sunshine State”) Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal.

The UFC fighters seem to have caught up with the Miami vibe, All the UFC stars entered the UFC press conference looking like stars freshly out of Hollywood, depicting their fabulous fashion sense, their outfit caused a stir all over the internet, with fans polling up their votes on who was wearing the best outfit of the day.
Fighters were seen loosening up a bit, out of their black-tinted vans, before entering the serious conference arena and standing face-to-face against their opponents.

The UFC 287 main event in Miami will feature a fight between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. As Pereira hopes to usher in a new era in the middleweight division, Adesanya is seeking to retake the throne.
At UFC 281, Adesanya fell to Pereira by technical knockout in the fifth round. Adesanya was defeated by a flurry of punches from Pereira in the final round after looking like he was minutes away from another decision victory.
Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal fight in a crucial welterweight encounter in the co-main event. Masvidal is looking to end a three-fight losing streak, while Burns wants another chance to win the UFC championship.
