UFC 287 was built pretty well stylistically and as a result, several Knockout victories came to display. There was a total of 5 Knockouts (3 Main Card, 1 Prelims, 1 Early Prelims) on UFC 287 Pereira vs Adesanya 2 card. Here’s a look at all of them.

UFC 287 KO: Israel Adesanya Knocks out Alex Pereira

The five-round war lasted till two as Israel Adesanya pulled off his blows and fed ‘Poatan’ to the canvas. Following a slow but steady round one, Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya began exchanging blows in round two.

Alex Pereira successfully connected a knee on Adesanya which was followed by a few punches. However, Israel Adesanya counterattacked which left Pereira in shambles. Once the Brazilian was down, Israel Adesanya closed the show with a hammer fist.

UFC 287 KO: Rob Font Knocks Out Adrian Yanez

Rob Font is currently one of the fiercest strikers at bantamweight and he validated the aura by beating Yanez in the very first round. Both men came swinging. Yanez was moving forward and was looking to land a big shot.

Yanez, however, failed to defend himself against Font. Ahead of the co-main event between Masvidal and Burns, Rob Font delivered a stunning KO in 2:57 minutes of the fight and let Miami welcome their own ‘Gamebred’ in action.

UFC 287 KO: Kevin Holland Knocks Out Santiago Ponzinibbio

Kevin Holland was on a two-fight losing streak and was slowly getting irrelevant from the welterweight title picture. Nevertheless, his KO win at UFC 287 clearly brought back ‘The Trail Blazer’ to the main picture.

Holland knocked out a tough contender in Santiago Ponzinibbio in the second fight of the main card. After two rounds of battling, Kevin Holland secured his KO win over Ponzinibbio at 3:16 minutes of round three. It was a much-needed win for Holland.

UFC 287 KO: Joe Pyfer Knocks Out Gerald Meerschaert

‘BodyBagz’ Joe Pyfer is now 2-0 in the UFC and he has earned both wins via KOs.  At UFC 287, Pyfer took on a 50-fight veteran Gerald Meerschaert but scripted an easy night for himself. The three-round contest ended in the very first round,

After understanding Meerschaert’s game plan, Pyfer didn’t hesitate to land his own shots. He stopped his opponent in 3:15 mins of round win, earning the 11th win of his professional MMA career.

UFC 287 KO: Steve Garcia Knocks Out Sha Yilan

After knocking out Chase Hooper in October 2022, Steve Garcia earned a lot of attention. He made sure to retain it at the Early Prelims of UFC 287 Pereira vs Adesanya 2 in Miami. ‘Mean Machine’ Garcia scored the first KO of the card as he stopped Sha Yilan.

Sha Yilan and Garcia finished off round one with the latter having an upper hand. Steve Garcia didn’t et the fight last long as round two began. He unloaded his best shots. With no response to the aggression, Sha Yilan surrendered to a knockout blow from Garcia at 0:36 mins of round two.
