UFC 284 will feature lightweight champion Islam Makhachev against Alexander Volkanovski as the main event. Volkanovski is looking to become a double-champion, while Makhachev will look for his first title defense. However, fans have not taken too kindly to the official fight poster.
The UFC released the official fight poster for the event. And MMA Mania posted the same on their Twitter account and asked fans to rate it from 1 to 10. This drew some brutal ratings, including several 1/10. One fan who rated the poster a 7/10 gave his two cents and said, “like the idea but the main event should be the main focus and should take up most of the poster imo.”
Thus, the fans are clearly unimpressed with the UFC 284 poster and will hope the event will be better than the poster.

The UFC 284 event will take place in Australia. And considering Australia does not get many events, the promotion will look to put on an electric card for the fans. However, the UFC has encountered several issues already.
New Zealand fan favorite Kai-Kara France pulled out of the event citing an injury. Whereas an exciting fight between Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker is allegedly not happening because Costa is unhappy with the offer.
Therefore, the UFC has promoted the interim Featherweight title bout between Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett as the co-main event. Moreover, they will have to find a suitable replacement for Whittaker. Only time will tell if the UFC 284 card will live up to the expectations.
