The 36-year-old Ngannou (17-3), who will face an unnamed opponent, is anticipated to make his PFL debut on pay-per-view in 2024. He also wants to compete in a professional boxing match, which is permitted by his new PFL contract. Ngannou completed his UFC contract in 2022, making him one of the most prominent MMA free agents ever.

An expert UFC panellist from Sony Sports Network addressed the same topic during an exclusive interactive session with Inside Sports. Since Francis Ngannou has now left UFC after his fight with Tyson Fury, he will be fighting with the PFL, the fighter has been receiving mixed reactions from MMA fans. Considering the fact that Francis Nagnnou can make an immense amount of money if he still considers staying with the UFC.

Expert Panelist From Sony Sports Outlines Whether PFL Can Outclass UFC

The 36-year-old always considered professional boxing to be his first priority as a free agent, but he was soon pursued by several respected MMA organisations, including Bellator, ONE Championship, and the PFL, all of which hoped to get his services.

The PFL ultimately prevailed, signing the Cameroonian-French knockout artist to a contract that seems to be both lucrative and unusual.

In 2024, Ngannou will make his league debut in the “Super Fight Division” and participate in the pay-per-view earnings from his matches. In his capacity as chairman and a small equity owner of the new PFL Africa section, he will lead the league’s expansion into Africa. He’ll be a board member of the PFL athlete advisory group.

Mr Somesh from Sony Sports shared his views on the same matter, saying it completely depended on the sides of the table we are considering the situation from, from the UFC perspective it was the stupidest decision, from Francis’s view, he considered the best deal from himself and lastly, from PFL’s point of view, they have incurred a marketable face, especially considering the fact that now they have announced that PFL will be going to Africa with Francis Ngannou.

Considering Working with PFL in the future has provided the fighter with a firm backup to go against Tyson Fury, Considering the fact that Tyson has a high possibility of defeating Francis, but considering the huge amount of money associated with the fight, it was a good step for Francis to agree to fight, even if he happens to lose he, will have PFL to return to.

PFL can in a way disrupt UFC but it is way too soon to assert if PFL can completely outclass UFC as of now.
