Road to UFC: India finally makes its roar into the mammoth of elite Mixed Martial Arts Organization on the earth, The Ultimate Fighting Championship.
ROAD TO UFC is a game-changing championship that will take top Asian MMA talents and provide them with a road to a UFC contract. The tournament will include eight MMA fighters taking part in four weight classes for men. The divisions are flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight, and lightweight.
The athletes are from Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India, and China’s UFC Academy. Notably, each card will also include one non-tournament contest, for five bouts at each event.
Indian fighter Pawan Maan Singh is fighting in the Lightweight division on June 9, against Jeka Saragih of Indonesia.
The Indian fighter was to fight China’s Adliya Muratbek, but due to visa issues, the Chinese native athlete couldn’t make it.
Eventually, on June 9 it’s going to be India vs Indonesia.
