Queen Cleopatra Netflix: Tristan Tate, the brother of controversial internet personality Andrew Tate, has demanded that Netflix ban an upcoming documentary about the famous Egyptian queen Cleopatra. In a tweet, Tristan said “Another one, Stop watching these.” He implied that the documentary is attempting to make Cleopatra black, similar to the recent casting of Halle Bailey, a black actress, as Ariel in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. Queen Cleopatra Netflix: Tristan tate tweeted controversial tweet on Cleopatra Documentary

Tristan’s tweet has garnered significant backlash, with many accusing him of racism. The Netflix documentary, titled “Cleopatra: A Queen Betrayed,” does not actually suggest that Cleopatra was black. Cleopatra was Greek, and the documentary explores her famous love affairs with Roman leaders Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, as well as her political savvy in navigating complex power struggles in ancient Egypt.

Tristan Tate and his brother Andrew, a former kickboxer, have developed reputations for making controversial and often offensive statements. Earlier this year, Andrew Tate was banned from most major social media platforms for violating hate speech policies and glorifying violence against women. His brother appears to be following in his footsteps with his misleading and racially-charged criticism of the Cleopatra documentary.

Netflix has not yet commented on Tristan Tate’s demands. The documentary is still scheduled for release on the streaming platform next month.

However, Tristan’s tweet may have brought more publicity to the film than Netflix’s own marketing efforts. While provocative, controversial statements from the Tate brothers tend to gain significant attention on social media, it remains to be seen whether that translates to viewership of the programs and people they criticize.
