Valentina Shevchenko Losses: Who beat ‘Bullet Valentina’ in the UFC?

Shevchenko’s most recent loss came at the hands of her next opponent, Alexa Grasso. The two met earlier this year as the co-main event of UFC 285. And Grasso surprised everyone by getting an impressive submission win over Shevchenko. Despite ‘Bullet Valentina’ being the favorite, Grasso controlled the fight and got the submission in the fourth round.

Before the loss to Grasso, Shevchenko was on a 9-fight win streak. This streak came after Shevchenko lost to Amanda Nunes at UFC 215 in 2017. This was another rematch for Shevchenko. And despite fighting very well, Nunes took home a controversial split decision win. To this day, many experts and fans believe Shevchenko won the fight.

The first meeting between the two was Shevchenko’s first defeat in the UFC. They met at UFC 196 in 2016. It was Shevchenko’s second fight in the UFC and Nunes showed her class. The Brazilian dominated the first two rounds. And despite Shevchenko doing well in the third, Nunes won by unanimous decision.

Thus, Shevchenko has only lost thrice in the UFC. However, she lost one fight before the UFC against Liz Carmouche at C3 Fights – Red River Rivalry in 2010. Carmouche beat Shevchenko by TKO in the second round.

So there you have it. These are the four times Valentina Shevchenko has lost in the UFC and the three times that she lost in the UFC. Do you think Alexa Grasso can beat her again?

UFC 296 Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler Tickets- When Can The Sales Begin?

Although all indications suggest that McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) must first re-enter the USADA testing programme, which necessitates two clean tests spread over six months, before stepping into the cage, he still lists Dec. 16 as the target date for his next bout.

Since The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 31’s premiere broadcast, McGregor has been on-and-off about a fight with Michael Chandler. The fact that the show was on everyone’s mind at the beginning made it very heated, but as the weeks passed, the Irish superstar changed his mind (a few times), and most recently, he wanted to combat the new “BMF.”

The UFC’s president, Dana White, told fight fans earlier this week that McGregor will definitely face Chandler next.

That was confirmed by McGregor during the same interview.
