UFC Vegas 77 Main Card Update: What happened to the Walt Harris vs Josh Parisian fight?

According to reports, Walt Harris failed a USADA drug test and hence, the UFC decided to pull the fight from the card. Later, Harris took to Twitter to confirm the news and explain the situation. The 40-year-old said there was a problem with his most recent USADA test.

Harris confirmed that the issue arose from a supplement he had been using. Unfortunately for Harris, the supplement contained a USADA-banned substance. Therefore, when this showed up in his tests, the UFC had no option but to cancel the fight.

Although Harris stated his innocence and claimed he had used it his whole career, the timing of it does not help. Harris is at the twilight of his career, and on a three-fight losing streak. Some may point out that he resorted to unfair means to ensure he stays in the UFC. Harris was quick to shut down these opinions stating that he is not a cheater.

Moreover, he also apologized to his opponent Josh Parisian and said he still wanted to face him in the future. There is no update on how long a ban Walt Harris will have to face. Only time will tell.

What do you make of this incident? Do you think Walt Harris is innocent?
