UFC Schedule: When is the next UFC Event?

UFC Vegas 79 between Rafael Fiziev and Mateusz Gamrot was the 17th-straight event by the leading MMA promotion. There have been continuous events since June 4. Therefore, the UFC takes a much-needed break this weekend as fans have to wait a little longer for the next weekend.

Thus, there will be no UFC action on Saturday, September 30. However, the line-up after this weekend means fans have a lot more to look forward to. Action returns the following weekend with another lightweight contest in the main event with Grant Dawson vs Bobby Green. The card also features other exciting names like Joaquin Buckley, Drew Dober, Ion Cutelaba, and others.

There are also many blockbuster events after UFC Vegas 80. The UFC recently confirmed two more PPV cards for the end of the year with UFC 295 and UFC 296. We already know UFC 294 will happen in October with Islam Makhachev vs Charles Oliveira as the main event.

However, UFC 295 will feature a heavyweight clash between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. It will also have the Jiri Prochazka vs Alex Pereira light-heavyweight title clash. Thus, that will be one of the biggest PPVs of the year.

In addition, fans will finally get to witness the Leon Edwards vs Colby Covington fight as the two welterweights headline UFC 296 in December. Around these PPV events, fans can look forward to more exciting Fight Night events.

So there you have it. While there is no UFC action this weekend, there is a lot more to look forward to in the coming weeks. Which event are you most looking forward to?
