Between his 75-4 kickboxing record and his 23-2 MMA record, Adesanya has 42 knockout wins out of 98 victories. This gives the New Zealander a 43% knockout rate. While this is not the most impressive, when you consider he has had over 100 professional fights, it is a very respectable return.
Pereira has a 33-7 kickboxing record and a 7-1 MMA record. Out of these 40 victories, 27 have come by knockout. Therefore, the Brazilian has a 67.5% knockout rate. This is an incredible return. However, some will point to the fact that Pereira has less than half the victories Adesanya has.
Therefore, when you only consider the knockout percentage, Pereira is the better knockout artist. Moreover, even if you consider the nature of knockouts, Pereira has more vicious knockouts than Adesanya. And although numbers do not tell the full story, the fact that Pereira has knockout out Israel Adesanya twice, we can safely say that Alex Pereira is a better knockout artist than Israel Adesanya.
