Justin Gaethje vs Rafael Fiziev

One fight that could definitely steal the show on fight night is the Justin Gaethje vs Rafael Fiziev contest. Both fighters match up very evenly in their physical attributes. However, Fiziev can switch stances which might cause problems for Gaethje. And although both lightweights prefer striking, Gaethje lands a lot more per minute than Fiziev. However, Gaethje and Fiziev both are decent at wrestling. So it’ll be interesting to what route the fight follows.

Gunnar Nelson vs Bryan Barberena

Another welterweight bout on the main card features Gunnar Nelson vs Bryan Barberena. Both fighters have almost identical physical attributes. However, Barberena fights in a southpaw stance. And while Maia has decent striking numbers, O’Neill lands more than twice the number of strikes per minute than Maia. Moreover, even when we consider the grappling stats, O’Neill has the better numbers.

The UFC 286 main card kicks off with an interesting middleweight fight between Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze. Dolidze has a slight advantage in terms of physical attributes. And both fighters have fairly average striking numbers. However, both Vettori and Dolidze are wresting heavy fighters. Thus, we can expect a close wrestling contest between them.
