Ever since his debut, Chimaev has always asked to fight everyone. According to the Swede, he was ready to face middleweight champion Israel Adesanya after his second fight in the UFC. And after impressive wins over the likes of Kevin Holland, Gilbert Burns, and Li Jingliang, he will now fight Usman.

Ahead of UFC 294, Chimaev spoke to Nine Daniele from Nina Drama on YouTube. In the end, she presented him with a few names from the middleweight division and asked Chimaev to say whether he would fight them.

This list included names like middleweight champion Sean Strickland, former champion Israel Adesanya, Paulo Costa, Roman Dolidze, Bo Nickal, and others. Unsurprisingly, Chimaev said he would “smash” all of these fighters.

The Swede then added, “So much money… Imagine [if] I fight all of these guys. Phew, crazy! Seven fights? Seven fights, so that’s almost $20 million.” Therefore, not only does Chimaev enjoy the fighting, but the lucrative paychecks that these big fights offer is also an added motivation for him. And when you consider the kind of personalities all these fighters share, it won’t be a surprise if he earns much more fighting them.

So there you have it. Khamzat Chimaev claims he could make $20 million fighting the best in the middleweight division. What do you make of these comments from the undefeated Swede? Do you think he is being overconfident? Is he overlooking Kamaru Usman?
