And with Islam Makhachev and Usman Nurmagomedov both competing within two weeks of each other, Nurmagomedov has his hands full. And now, he has given his predictions for UFC 294 and Bellator 300.

After retiring, Khabib Nurmagomedov focused on coaching. This includes a number of big-name fighters including Islam Makhachev, Usman Nurmagomedov, Umar Nurmagomedov, and more. And ahead of what promises to be a challenging month for Nurmagomedov, he has given his take.

Khabib Nurmagomedov predicts UFC 294 and Bellator 300 results
Usman Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev both hold the lightweight belts in their respective promotions. The former will compete first when he faces Brent Primus at Bellator 300 on October 7. Makhachev will then defend his belt against Charles Oliveira on October 21.
Ahead of the respective events, Khabib Nurmagomedov took to Instagram to share his predictions for the fights. He posted a video of Usman Nurmagomedov training on his Instagram story and captioned it with, “7 October And Still.”
‘The Eagle’ also posted a story of Makhachev’s training camp on his Instagram story and captioned it with, “21 October And Still.” Therefore, the Russian is confident in his fighters to retain their belts.
Both Usman Nurmagomedov and Makhachev go into their respective events as the favorites. However, Usman Nurmagomedov arguably has the easier challenge. Makhachev may have dominated Oliveira the last time. However, this time, the Russian has yet another difficult fight ahead.
Despite this, Khabib Nurmagomedov is confident. Only time will tell if coach Khabib got his predictions right. One thing is for sure, both Usman Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev will have prepared well under the guidance of Khabib Nurmagomedov.
