UFC Vegas 80 Commentary team revealed – No Joe Rogan yet again

MMA Orbit revealed the commentary team for this weekend’s event. They took to the social media platform, X, to confirm that the commentary team will feature John Gooden, Daniel Cormier, and Paul Felder. Moreover, they also confirmed that Bruce Buffer will be the Octagon announcer.

Therefore, it will be another weekend without Joe Rogan. Rogan is arguably the voice of the UFC and is synonymous with UFC commentary. However, he has not featured since the end of August, at UFC 292 when Sean O’Malley beat Aljamain Sterling.

This may surprise some fans and cause a bit of worry. However, there is a reason Joe Rogan has not featured for a while. Rogan only commentates on the PPV events in the UFC. This is the agreement he has with the UFC amidst his busy schedule. In addition, Rogan does not like traveling and therefore, he missed UFC 293 in Australia.

However, it will be slightly worrying since one of UFC’s competitors, ONE FC, offered Rogan the chance to commentate on one of their events. However, given Rogan’s love for the UFC, it is unlikely that he will leave the leading MMA promotions.
