Sean Strickland believes that Khamzat Chimaev, an unbeaten welterweight, needs to be a little more considerate of his training partners if he wants to maintain his championship contention status in the UFC.

Chimaev is renowned for working hard in the gym, as anyone who has seen a video of him working out at the Allstars gym in Stockholm will attest to. However, as legendary SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh has said, sparring is best done when you enhance the hardware without harming the software.

Additionally, a video that emerged in 2022 from Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas appears to show that UFC middleweight Sean Strickland shares this philosophy. Strickland appeared to accuse Chimaev of being a touch too aggressive with some of his training partners.

Prior to a fight, training camps are typical. However, Khamzat Chimaev does not. Whatever his fighting schedule, the Swedish fighter trains every month of the year. He also seems to dominate his opponents during sparring.

A video of ‘Borz’ from last year in which UFC champion Sean Strickland is giving him advice is making the rounds online once more. Quite a bizarre world. Tarzan was being trained at the Xtreme Couture gym in Las Vegas when filmmaker Youcef Hollywood shot the movie ‘Tarzan’ last year. One section of his endeavour, nonetheless, found success when he discussed Chimaev’s training philosophy.

Fans could hear Strickland telling Chimaev to “be nice” in the video. The middleweight contestant also urged the Swede not to harm anyone. Darren Till, a close friend of Chimaev and a former UFC fighter, was also seen perspiring.

As the post made its rounds on Instagram once again, MMA Fans reacted to the post with comments like “Khamzat could very well be Sean’s next fight.” while someone else commented, “Mad dog Russo has been so quiet since Colorado beat Nebraska.”

The fans were left guessing after this entertaining exchange. They therefore made assumptions about what might have transpired during the training session to cause Strickland to teach Chimaev a lesson.
