Chael Sonnen is arguably one of the greatest trash-talkers in the sport. The former UFC middleweight has often found himself in the limelight because of what he has said. And despite retiring a while back, he still gets himself into trouble. And now, the former UFC fighter has gotten into a verbal battle with Jorge Masvidal.

Masvidal, who recently retired from the sport, is not famous for being a talker. ‘Gamebred’ has often spoken about him not being a talker. However, it appears as though a battle with the great Chael Sonnen was too much to pass up on, even for Masvidal. And we now have the unlikeliest of beef.

It all started because Ariel Helwani and Chael Sonnen had an argument. The renowned MMA journalist got into a heated battle with the former UFC fighter about the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight. The two spoke about several topics and Helwani even asked Sonnen to apologize for his comments about Ngannou before the fight.
After this happened, Masvidal joined Helwani on the MMA hour. And when speaking to Helwani, ‘Gamebred’ called Sonnen a ‘Bit*h’ and said some other things about him. Sonnen obviously did not take this well. He replied to the clip of Masvidal by saying, “Masvidal Lackey for the man Dana White reduced to HUMAN RUBBLE.”
Masvidal then chirped back at him. He said, “You juice head, I bet you won’t say this stuff in person. @ChaelSonnen just keep the same energy when you see me.” Obviously, Sonnen had another witty reply and said it’s unlikely they would run into each other since he does not hang around country jails, homeless centers, methadone centers, or dodgy, unlicensed barber shops.
