Fresh off his in against Arnold Allen at UFC Fight Night 221, Max Holloway connected with the MMA Hour and discussed several things. There, he went on to express his interest in facing Gervonta Davis.
Max Holloway said, “Let’s make a big fight with ‘Tank’ or something,”
“Floyd Mayweather and ‘Tank,’ ‘Tank’ is following Floyd Mayweather’s recipe to the key. So, why not he fight a MMA guy and we do a big one? I can s—t talk to him. Just don’t put no hydration clause in it like how he did to my man Garcia. That would be a fun one.”
Gervonta Davis Knocked out Ryan Garcia in the seventh round of their recent main-event fight. ‘Tank’ unveiled a lopsided performance. However, Ryan Garcia had a re-hydration clause attached, which didn’t allow him to add weight freely after the official weigh-ins.

Max Holloway doesn’t want to have the same if he gets inside the boxing ring against ‘Tank’ Davis. Akin to Holloway, Conor McGregor has also denounced the re-hydration clause put over Ryan Garcia.
Following the fight, McGregor met Garcia in the locker room. The UFC star desired to see a re-match between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia without any re-hydration clause.

Gervonta Davis clearly mentioned that he will take some time off and plan what’s next in his boxing journey. Already a three-weight world champion, ‘Tank’ earned his 29th pro victory and 27th Knockout against Garcia.
He can now aim at several possible opponents in the future. Devin Haney will put his undisputed status at stake against Vasiliy Lomachenko on May 20. ‘Tank’ can fight the winner of the two. Several fight fans are also considering a future fight between ‘Tank’ and ‘Fearless’ Shakur Stevenson.
