The 6 foot 2 inch fighter claims that moving to the UAE was not motivated by any secret goals. He further disclosed that he only came to Dubai in search of a better profession and opportunities.
As per, a post on X, “ Khamzat Chimaev spoke on his recent move to UAE”: “Everyone who says i have left the country, that i have left Sweden and all this stuff, i have just moved to Dubai. Come to Dubai Habibi. Everyone has made the biggest political thing out of this. Its better for my career, better training, always sunny, you’re not freezing. Will always respect my city, Stockholm, my home and i will always come back. Im doing stuff for my career, my family, its more important for me than anything else in the world. Everyone who cheers me on from Sweden, i respect you, I represent you too.”
Chimaev, who goes by the name Borz, admitted that he will also be in touch with his house in Stockholm. But he had to take this action since it was essential for his family and his profession. Fans may have felt more at ease after hearing Khamzat Chimaev’s perspective because his words reassured them that he moved to the UAE for the better.
