A self-acclaimed football follower, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has several business enterprises and an MMA promotion under his belt right now. That said, an exhibition basketball game can clearly allure him to return to the sporting world.
Khabib Nurmagomedov dropped pictures of his basketball practice on social media, sending several fans into a frenzy. Here’s a look at the post.

In the caption, the former UFC lightweight champion wrote, “Sometimes there are blockbusters in the hall.”
A few days back, Khabib Nurmagomedov was spotted hitting the treadmill. That said, it shall be exciting for his fans to see the UFC veteran try out a different sport.
Khabib Nurmagomedov UFC career: Will Khabib Nurmagomedov ever return to MMA?
Khabib defended his lightweight belt against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in October 2020. It was his last professional fight as Khabib hung up his gloves with a perfect 29-0 record.
UFC President Dana White tried persuading Khabib for one last fight and even seemed to offer him an exceptionally lucrative payday. But Khabib rejected them all. Hence, it’s hard to picture him returning to action.
Khabib Nurmagomedov had his father Abdulmanap corner him throughout his career. Following his father’s demise, Khabib fought only against Gaethje. ‘The Eagle’ also claimed that his mother no longer wants to see him fight. With so many emotions attacked, Khabib shall never return to the UFC ever again.
The ex-UFC lightweight champion coached his teammates for a while. He was present at Islam Makhachev’s corner when the Dagestani earned the (vacant) UFC lightweight belt in Abu Dhabi by beating Charles Oliveira.

Khabib, however, cut ties from his coaching duties too. He appears to be desiring more family time. But Nurmagomedov has been an athlete all his life. Hence, he may not stay away from the action for a long time. While so many retired athletes are performing in exhibitions these days, Khabib Nurmagomedov can join the tide shortly.
