In a recent event, something similar happened when a person asked Khabib Nurmagomedov about the types of genders there are. The ex-UFC lightweight champion didn’t give a steady response and just laughed off.
Meanwhile, MMA Twitter seemingly understood Nurmagomedov’s response as they offered reactions to the video. Here’s a look at how some of the fans reacted to Khabib’s answer.
In the past, Khabib Nurmagomedov made headlines for his comments on the ring girls. Per Nurmagomedov, the UFC ring girls didn’t serve any purpose and the fighter called them useless to certain extent.
His exact words were, “Look, I don’t want to offend anyone. Ring girls are the most useless people in martial arts. What is their function? You can show that it is the second round on the screen. Do they develop a sport? Or they help people to see that it is the second round now? What are they doing? Tell me, please.”
The comments didn’t ait well with Arianny Celeste, who publicly protested against Khabib Nurmagomedov’s comments. In a lengthy IG Post, Celeste wrote, “You can call us useless, but to people like me who have worked this hard, it slips right off my shoulders. My life is too good to be unhappy.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov Has Always Appeared To Be an Orthodox Person
Unlike most UFC superstars, Khabib Nurmagomedov has never been too much open about his personal life. He has kept his wife, children and other close ones far from the spotlight ad never entertained the media to get too close to his family.
‘The Eagle’ retired from MMA after defending the lightweight belt successfully against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. It was his first and only fight after his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’s death.
An emotional Khabib promised to never come back to the game without his father. Although he received several lucrative offers from various people, ‘The Eagle’ stood by his words and hasn’t turned back to fighting professionally.
