At UFC Austin, Jalin Turner defeated Bobby Green in a tremendous fashion. And now Renato Moicano has expressed his desire to fight him in February which annoyed Turner as he compares Renato with Conor McGregor.
On short notice, “The Tarantula” took on Green as Dan Hooker had to postpone his matchup with “King” because of an injury.
Fans got exactly what they were expecting from Turner and Green’s new co-main event as they stood and exchanged strikes from the first bell.
A few minutes into the round, Turner gave his opponent a cut from a stinging right hand and then launched a barrage of ground-and-pound blows that forced the referee to stop the fight.
Jalin Turner After His Win With Bobby Green Gets Annoyed At Renato Moicano
Following UFC Austin, No. 14 ranked lightweight contender Renato Moicano took to X to criticize ‘The Tarantula,’ writing as follows:
“Hey @danawhite, I saw that co main event Renato Moicano vs. @JalinTurner let’s keep this fight. First round ko, no injuries… congrats turner see you in Feb”
After learning about Moicano’s call out at the post-fight news conference,Turner criticized the fellow lightweight contender for his frequent taunts. Turner stated:
“That fool’s been calling everybody out. That’s all he does is call everybody out. Anybody that wins he wants to callout. That’s annoying bro. Stop doing that. I don’t know why these fighters keep doing that. It’s corny bro. You’re not Conor McGregor! Stop trying to have everybody’s name in your mouth. It’s weird.”
Renato had his eyes on last Saturday’s UFC Event. Micano had already predicted in the fight of Bobby Green and Jalin Turner, Turner would win the bout, irrespective of Renato’s doubts on Jalin Turner’s weight.
“In my opinion, I think Jalin Turner will beat Bobby Green,” Moicano said.
Renato wants to fight Jalin Turner for his next UFC fight in the month of February as per his social media post.
