It seems like Hasim Rahman Jr. didn’t appreciate what Dana White had to say and felt demeaned by his comments. During a recent segment with DAZN Boxing, Rahman Jr. called out White and urged to send his UFC fighters for a boxing match. He said:
“Dana White could put anybody in there with me. Francis whatever his name is, Jon Jones, whoever he want. He put him in there with me and I would destroy him. He knows that.”

“He’s not gonna put none of his fighters in there with me. So, I really don’t have, you know, I don’t put much weight on what he said, I don’t appreciate, he don’t even know me. He’s speaking on me like I’m just some type of just fighter that just, ‘Oh you just got knocked out.’ Dana White will get slapped in his mouth if he comes around talking crazy to me.”
Hasim Rahman Jr. is clearly unimpressed with what Dana White had to say. It is worth noting that White did make a good point by suggesting that Rahman Jr. was knocked out in his last fight so it should’ve been the winner who should’ve fought Jake Paul.
However, Jake Paul’s upcoming bout against Hasim Rahman Jr. stems from a personal rivalry which the two have had over the past couple of years. The fight will certainly be an interesting one for both fighters as it will give Paul an opportunity to finally add a ‘pro-boxer’ to his resume.
On the flipside, Hasim Rahman Jr. will aim to become the one to shut Jake Paul up for good. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top come fight night on August 6th.
