UFC 294: Francis Ngannou Seen Supporting Stipe Miocic
Ngannou faced Miocic twice in the UFC, losing both times by landslide unanimous decisions. However, in 2021, he defeated Miocic by knockout to claim the heavyweight championship. Years of rumors regarding a fight between Ngannou and Jones never came to pass.
Jones, a former multiple-time light heavyweight champion, will be making his only appearance at heavyweight. Ngannou still thinks “Bones” has his work cut out for him in the division despite Jones’ impressive debut performance, a submission that won him the title in March against Ciryl Gane.
