There is a lot of buzz after this major announcement from PFL. The PFL announced the signing of the Nigerian fighter via The New York Times. After 4 months of waiting, fans finally found the heavyweight fighter getting signed to an MMA promotion. As per Ngannou, this deal is ‘strategic’ to him which allows him leadership and some equity in major decisions in the PFL. The 36-year-old plans to debut the promotion next year in mid-2024 after an expected boxing match this year.
Following this decision, Francis Ngannou said he was waiting for four months to get a decent deal of his desire. Moreover, he said, “They (PFL) didn’t just show up as a promotion that was looking for a fighter, but really came as a partner that sees more value in you as a person.”
