Dillon Danis Seemingly Made a Bad Impression on UFC CEO Dana White

Dana White thinks that Dillon Danis might cause more problems than benefits, Danis is undoubtedly a well-known enough figure for the UFC to at least take into consideration signing him.

Although praising other fighters who have engaged in scandal and extramarital behavior throughout the years, Dana White has effectively closed the door on Dillon Danis’s prospects of competing in the UFC. Due to his behavior in the October 14th celebrity boxing match versus Logan Paul, the mixed martial arts fighter and close friend of UFC president and CEO Dana White appeared to leave a negative impression on the executive team.

During his brief guest spot on the Full Send podcast, White discussed Dillon Danis. “I have no beef with the kid at all, I’ve probably said two words to him in my whole life. But every time he’s around, shit’s going down.”

Dillon Danis Criticizing Logan Paul Put On A Negative Impression On Dana White

The highly publicized celebrity boxing match between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis is remembered for its brutal personal insults that preceded the fight. But despite the animosity between the two combatants, Danis’s lackluster boxing performance was undone by Paul’s DQ triumph, which came mere moments before a unanimous decision victory.

Danis lost a point in the sixth and final round after attempting to take Paul down from underneath and failing to do so on the second effort at the last bell, which caused both sides to enter the ring. Danis ended an unpleasant evening for the jiu-jitsu expert by swinging at a security guard during the altercation.

Although Dana White thinks that Dillon Danis might cause more problems than benefits, Danis is undoubtedly a well-known enough figure for the UFC to at least take into consideration signing him.

Dillon Danis is arguably the only person in the combat sports industry to have gained as much recognition in as few battles. Following his first boxing venture earlier this year, “El Jefe” was released from Bellator after a brief two-fight tenure with the company following a successful grappling career.

There has been a lot of conjecture that Dillon Danis might accept a contract with the UFC since his departure from Bellator and the excitement surrounding his boxing debut against Logan Paul, but White has some reservations about the controversial fighter’s potential contributions to the organization.
