Dillon Danis spoke openly with Ariel Helwani about a variety of topics, including his eagerly anticipated matchup with Logan Paul on October 14.

Helwani questioned Danis on why he was marketing the fight because he wouldn’t be earning any pay-per-view (PPV) points during the chat.

The topic of the fight’s finances came up during the debate since Logan Paul had previously stated that Dillon Danis would not be eligible for a cut of the PPV sales. Instead, flat-rate compensation would be made to both fighters.

Logan Paul, Jake Paul’s older brother, and Danis will square off on October 14 in Manchester as part of Misfits Boxing’s “The PRIME Card.” On the most recent episode of The MMA Hour, Dillon Danis joined Ariel Helwani in studio to talk about his imminent boxing debut and what might come next before making his long-awaited return to competition.

The BJJ expert promptly dismissed Helwani’s suggestion that Danis might find a decent home in the PFL by saying:

“Only way I’ll go to PFL is if they give me the Jake Paul fight,” Danis said. “I don’t want to fight nobody in the PFL. They’re all losers.”

To this, fans reacted on X, with various comments expressing their views:

On Saturday, October 14th at the AO Arena in Manchester, England, Danis is getting ready to enter the boxing ring with Logan Paul in the co-main event. The main event will feature KSI and Tommy Fury in a fight.

Danis, 30, will engage in a professional bout for the first time since 2019. At Bellator 222 in June 2019, Danis (2-0 MMA) faced and defeated Max Humphrey (3-3 MMA) in his previous outing.

Paul, 28, has a professional boxing record of 0 victories and 1 defeat, which occurred in November 2019 against KSI.

Danis’ social media posts of Nina Agdal, Logan Paul’s fiancée, have caused him a lot of difficulties outside the ring.
