Dillon Danis Calls Out Paddy Pimblett To Be His Potential UFC Opponent

Dillon Danis claims that he would even be willing to mentor Pimblett on The Ultimate Fighter, with the two competing for his first-ever match at the conclusion of the program.

Dillon Danis is one of the most controversial characters in mixed martial arts, partly because of his social media antics and his relationship to Conor McGregor. Recently, “El Jefe” entered the influencer boxing scene as well. He competed against Logan Paul on the MF x DAZN Prime Card, but he was disqualified in the last round for trying to apply a guillotine choke. And now, Danis has demanded that Paddy Pimblett be the opponent for his prospective UFC debut.

In addition to his online image, Danis is a well-known Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, as he has shown in competitions while competing for Bellator. The 30-year-old participated in two fights under the MMA organization, winning both via submission in the first round. Then, early in the year, he was let free.

Danis is now presumably done boxing and without a promotion, therefore he is focused on getting into the UFC. In a series of social media posts, Danis has questioned Dana White about getting a contract, most recently tagging Paddy Pimblett as his first possible rival.

Dillon Danis claims that he would even be willing to mentor Pimblett on The Ultimate Fighter, with the two competing for his first-ever match at the conclusion of the program.

“My UFC debut against Paddy Pimblett would be quite the show, the buildup alone would be electric! And if we want to add some fun, we could be coaches on The Ultimate Fighter and have our fight at the end. Imagine the entertainment that would generate. Let’s give the people what they want and make fighting entertaining again!”

Danis and “Poatan” have been spotted working out together several times, suggesting that the two have become friends in recent months. This week, during the UFC 295 media day, the Brazilian was questioned on his friendship with the contentious Danis.

As far as Pereira is concerned, he thinks Dillon Danis is good enough to fight in the UFC, and he’s ‘pumped’ to take on the fighter soon.
