What Record Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje Has Against Khabib Nurmagomedov

In the illustrious realm of MMA, Khabib Nurmagomedov has carved an indomitable path, never tasted defeat not only that he rarely lost any rounds. Yet, within this near-impenetrable fortress, only two remarkable rounds stand out as blemishes on his otherwise impeccable record.

These extraordinary moments occurred during his encounters with his long-standing rival, Conor McGregor, and the exceptionally skilled fighter, Justin Gaethje. It is this extraordinary shared experience against Khabib that unites McGregor and Gaethje, showcasing their exceptional abilities and placing them in a league of their own.

In Khabib vs Gaethje for the first 90 seconds of the round, Khabib didn’t attack. During this time, Justin repeatedly kicked Khabib’s legs, which affected his mindset and caused him to increase his pace. From the three minute mark onwards, the boxing was evenly matched, and although Justin landed more headshots, the pressure was still affecting him.

On the other hand, McGregor faced dominance from Nurmagomedov in significant stretches of their encounter, but the resilient Irishman showcased his tenacity by claiming victory in one round. Despite enduring a 10-8 setback in the preceding round, McGregor rallied back and impressively secured the third round, as unanimously recognized by the judges’ scorecards.

However, his triumph was short-lived, as he ultimately succumbed to Nurmagomedov’s submission prowess in the fourth round. McGregor’s ability to snatch a round against such a formidable opponent demonstrates his resilience, even in the face of adversity. And this is how they both share a record against The Eagle which no other fighter has done.
